I'm Markus.
I'm an independent graphic designer and creative director based in Monterey, California, with more than 30 years of experience creating brands, campaigns, packaging, advertising, digital experiences, and just about everything else that involves making something look great and communicate clearly.
I've worked with companies large and small, from established brands to businesses building something from the ground up. Along the way, I've had the opportunity to work across a pretty wide range of industries, which is one of the things I love most about what I do.
One day it might be a national advertising campaign. The next, a logo, a wine label, a product package, an event identity, or a ridiculously specific illustration.
I've spent my career working for and with agencies, creative teams, and major brands. Today, I bring that same level of experience and expertise directly to every project I take on.
